Speech and Debating Program
The Grovedale College Speech and Debating Program promotes student voice and community involvement and has done so since 1999. Students at the College have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities including forums, competitions and training days to enhance their public speaking ability and confidence. In recent years that has included excellent results in the DAV Debating competition and the Lions Club Youth of the Year competition.
The College especially encourages students considering career pathways such as politics, teaching, law and entertainment industries to become involved. All participants have the opportunity to meet new people, have fun, be challenged, be rewarded for their effort and network in our region.
